Werewolves (RP15) The Waking Dawn

Bianca rolled her eyes but smiled subtlety. She could at least make Jackie appear somewhat civil. But the rest was history. She also wondered, looking between them and measuring lengths of hair between her middle and forefinger, just how Jackie and Ulric had nearly died so many times. Also if Jackie knew how to use conditioner or what conditioner was. Mental note. Buy conditioner if they ever get into civilization again.

She continued to snip chunks and rough edges. Eventually it would start to resemble a choppy, layered bob.

Thnk.

The front door opened and Logan walked in. Her long, sopping wet hair fell clear to her backside. She was wearing khaki cargo pants, and a long sleeved white tee shirt. Both fit better than her previous clothes, but had room to  breathe for transformations. Over the top of the tee shirt was a baggy, dark green denim jacket. She was uncharacteristically wearing her leather boots.

The new attire was thanks of course to the leftover money that Kratos had given Bianca. She had a tool belt, a small hatchet with it's handle wrapped in paracord, and a waterproof lighter. Not to mention a few first aid articles brought over by the Chapmans - including a tourniquet - that she had squirreled away into a metal case in her backpack. Fool her - how many times? She left her tool belt (rather, a sturdy leather belt with some heavy riveted loops) and hatchet outside to be polite, but would be sure not to leave the cabins without them.

She took in the room one person at a time. She acknowledged Timothy first with a deep breath, then the mess of a pack in the dining room.

"Good morning," Bianca chirped. Logan just lowered her chin in response, seeming stiffly surprised at all of the pack present. Nonetheless she trudged forward into the kitchen, opening up the back door first and foremost.

"Not to interrupt - well, a little - but since you are all here.." Bianca spoke, loud enough so everyone could here, and yet kindly and softly still. "We've all been shifting around a lot between the cabins-with everything going on-and, I think it's time to establish rules for where everyone stays."

Marie followed eagerly, whining as the smell of the rabbit grew stronger. Drool collected at the corner of her maw and whipped away, and even before Matthew could reach it, she had overtaken him and had the creature between her teeth!

She turned to face Matthew('s general direction) with a wolfish grin on her face. "You... hongry..?" she whined with the creature still in her mouth, her head tilting nearly sideways?

Even after the pancakes were decimated, she held perfectly still. She regarded her sticky fingers thoughtfully then began to lick the syrup off of them.

"You might have to kill me if you want my room," Jackie replied, in a tone that made it hard to tell if she was serious or joking.

Matthew slowed down and let Marie overtake him, bounding to a stop as she caught her prey. He looked at the rabbit in her mouth and smiled awkwardly. " Um, no thanks, I've already ate," he replied quietly.

"The spiders moved into mine while we were gone over the summer." Ulric said, waving his hand dismissively. "You can have it."
Clearly, he was joking.

Timothy said nothing from the other room.

"Or mine. It is a mess. Do not go in there." Logan responded.

Bianca spun the scissors in her hands. "I have the scissors." she whispered menacingly. "But, really... you two would stay here. Timothy as well. The new kid has the... closet?.. and uhm, Sabrina is probably situated. I don't know her deal, but I'm not moving her."

She looked to Ulric as she fluffed her hands through Jackie's hair, measuring each side using Jackie's ears as a marker. "Jackie, your hair is a really pretty color." she chirped.

"I was thinking me, you-" she pointed to Ulric with the scissors, "Toby, Levi, Theo... and, Chime." she said the last one sadly. Of course they'd heard the story by now. They didn't know when she'd be back, but she was promised to come home.

"I think that's everyone, right?"

-- Meanwhile, the table being too crowded, Logan sat in a chair across from Timothy in the living room, eating her soup and planning her day.

Timothy finished his pancakes. He looked at Logan. His bright eyes were the only things that never seemed to change between his two forms.

"What did you do with it?" He said.

Matthew didn’t have to offer twice. The ravenous werewolf made short work of the rabbit. Her fur was matted, her skin clung to her bones. All while she ate her figure trembled.

When she had finished, she cleaned her face and reached into a pocket and pulled out a small necklace. It was a crude leather strap with what looked like a bear claw fixed to it. She held it out to Matthew wordlessly.

Matthew adverted his gaze as the hungry werewolf devoured her prey. Then, he watched as she pulled something out of her pocket. He looked at it first confused, but slowly took it into his large paw. " Oh, um, thanks," he said still unsure if she was trying to give it to him or not.
He looked around the forest briefly before looking back at the blind werewolf. " Do you live here?" He asked.

Logan looked up, surprise in her expression.

”Eh,” she stalled, “I don’t know how to explain…” she slurped her soup. “Ah, anyway there is no work place here, a shed or some thing.” She continued to eat soup, as if that was explanation enough.

“No… this isn’t home.” She shook her head. “I’m lost.”
