Werewolves (RP15) The Waking Dawn

PreviousPage 27 of 32Next

Levi had been about to answer Bianca's question, when the siren sounded. He did not recognize the sign of the color change in the clouds. But he'd heard about the monsters that would form in areas of the U.S., so that similar weather back in Ireland had to be differentiated as "mini tornados".

"Shouldnae we find a--?" He started to ask, and was thinking storm cellar or something, like he'd seen on the movies. But Bianca shifted by then, and took off. Well. He certainly had no plans on being left in the dust. So he followed suited and loped after her.

"The cabins 'll be a'right, won't they?" he panted as he ran up alongside her. "Would Theo know that's a tornado siren?"

"It could just be a storm siren," Bianca responded, glancing at Levi. Theo must have gone to lay down... at least he was there with Saber. With Timothy currently MIA, Bianca felt bad about leaving the cabins.

"I saw the start of one in Middlecrest once, it never touched down but there was a lot of rotation..."she said, slowing down to talk to Levi. The trees on the pathway, coupled with the dark clouds overhead, made it feel as though it were night. It didn't surprise Bianca, with the way the weather had been-but it was never a good thing. Her ears twitched as she noted the direction of the wind. Her lithe figure moved faster still down the pathway, kicking up dirt and rocks with every corner she made, until she broke out into the fields, panting as she slowed and watched the sky with her ears erect.

Levi managed to stay at her side, though he skidded with a lot less grace when she stopped, and went down like a long-legged hound with a whine and grunt and a thump. But he bounced back up in a minute, mouth open and panting, and followed her gaze.

"Storms a lot here, donae?" He winced, remembering the night he and Theo had spent on the mountain in the storm. "Those clouds donae look good. Not a wee bit."

“No… I’m worried about all of the rain more than anything. It looks like a landslide almost ate the cabins.” she observed.

“Uggh… Zander was in Reknab Bend. I hope he’s safe.”

Large raindrops had started to fall, albeit slowly. Bianca’s concerned blue eyes went from the clouds to the fields as the gray bodies grumbled overhead.

Hey, there’s… “Kratos!”

Kratos was not afar off in the field. He was a man in form, but he went about barefoot and without the red mantle. As he saw Bianca before she called to him, he both beckoned her and went to meet her.

"It seems something is happening." Kratos said, indicating the overhead siren. "But Zeit is back, and she will know what it is. The others are with her. Who is still at the cabins?"

“Zeit’s back…? That’s good.” Bianca looked in the direction of the cabin. “Just Saber and Theo. Sabrina and Timothy went.. somewhere. Ulric, Jackie and Logan came up this way a little while ago.”

The siren continued to blare and Bianca looked past Kratos. “I’m mostly worried about the storm. Is it safer for us to be down here at Zeit’s cabin? We can go back for the others..”

Levi kept his head down and said nothing in the presence of the Alpha, just trying to avoid eye contact. Or questions. Or acknowledgement of any kind, really.

Kratos narrowed his eyes briefly. "Somewhere." He echoed with displeasure.

"The cabins are safe enough for us." He said. "But it is best for us to be gathered in one. Tonight we gather at Zeit's homestead."

"Go down and join the others. I will get the boys."

Bianca stiffened a bit at Kratos’ tone. She inadvertently outed her pack seniors.. but it didn’t seem to be much of a surprise, anyway. Those two were always gone-Bianca was shocked to see Timothy even at breakfast.

Then she looked a little put out. All of her stuff was up there and she just finally got to sleep in her own bed again.

“Would you-“ she didn’t want to come off as bossy to the Alpha - “see if maybe Theo or someone could grab my white coat? In case it gets cold… its the puffy one.. thank you!”
She beamed a big toothy grin then sidestepped the Alpha, “Come on Levi.” she looked back at him to see his disposition had changed and knit her brow. She caught hold of his hand-paw- and practically tugged him away, “Hey, are you alright?” The blonde asked under her breath as she moved away from Kratos.

"Aye, right as rain," Levi said, missing the irony of his words with the storm overhead and siren blaring. His tail was still tucked and he glanced back nervously in the Alpha's direction.

But then looked at Bianca and asked, "Why d'yeh ask?"
