The following is a list of compiled details regarding the history of the realm and the unique features of the landscape as far as such facts have been or will be discovered by the characters themselves. It should not be treated as a conclusive list, as it is subject to alterations when new and interesting information becomes available.

The Chandler Ranch

The Chandler Ranch is a cottage homestead and farming acreage situated to the north-east of Reknab Bend. The property extends as far south as the old north road and is bordered on the north by the densely wooded forest of Phantom Mountain. The land has been owned and managed by the Chandler family for at least two successive generations as cattle pasture for prize-winning livestock. At one time known as a multi-handed ranching business, the Chandler Ranch is well known for breeding quality animals, as well as being a place where travelers can get rest and work. The homestead itself features a small apple grove, corn field, and horse corral. The cottage has six bedrooms and one bath, as well as an attic, and a fireplace on the north-west corner of the cottage.

Additional facts:

• The Chandler Homestead is the site where the original Calagathorm werewolves met and formed a pack union.
• The cottage and land is presently owned by Calagathorm Werewolf member, Zeit Chandler, who inherited it from her father.
• It is suspected that the Chandler Ranch has been secretly owned and operated by werewolves since the founding of Reknab Bend.

Phantom Mountain

Phantom Mountain is the smallest of a string of mountain peaks on the north side of Reknab Bend. It stands 9,207 feet tall and is situated between Mount Panorama (12,402 ft) on the west, and Mount Killer (13,165 ft) on the east. All three mountains stand near the eastern end of the Phantom Mountain range.
Phantom Mountain itself is known to have the densest foliage population of all the mountains in the area, with a diversity of trees ranging between ash, elm, and pine. The mountain is characterized by steep terrain and a number of streams fed by the river running down west-to-east over the mountain from Panorama's peak. The main body of the river fills the lake on Chandler Ranch, from which it continues to run south to feed the Great Monvac River.

Additional facts:

• Phantom Mountain, along with Reknab Bend and the surrounding range, is currently the home territory of the Calagathorm werewolf pack.
• The mountain is presumably named for a plant that grows almost exclusively in its densely forested areas. However, it has also been called "Chandler Mountain" by local Reknab Bend residents, and "The Varnished Hills" by Pinerich city officials.
• Among its diverse features, Phantom Mountain possesses the odd characteristics of an enclosed meadow near its base (the only area not heavily forested), and a small grove of oak trees which are not native to the area.

Reknab Bend

Reknab Bend is a small, mostly rural town situated south of the Phantom Mountain range. The town was first settled in 1842 by a man named John Edward Stone, who is recorded as a mountain-man-turned-farmer who met and married one Margrett Dell. The town, however, was not formerly recognized or established until 1850, when its population began to swell. Supposedly, the town reached its peak around 1923, and quickly plummeted thereafter. Today, the town is mainly known as a farming and ranching community with a population of no more than 2,000 residents.

Additional Facts:

• Reknab Bend is sometimes referred to as "Banker Bend" by those who are amused by the backwards spelling of the name. It is, however, unknown whether or not the spelling was intentional.
• The oldest living resident of Reknab Bend is a woman named Sophia Buttermilk, who traces her lineage directly to Founder John Stone through his daughter Belle.

Middlecrest

Middlecrest is a modern suburban town, with a mall and large police force, located between the Phantom Mountain range on the east and the Turbulence Mountain range on the west. Although Middlecrest was settled much later than Reknab Bend (in 1910), it is a far larger and more frequented town on account of its location in the pass between Pinerich City and the northern mountain country.

Pinerich City

Pinerich city post-dates the settlement of Reknab Bend by thirty years, nonetheless, its size and population swelled well before its predecessor. Originally a railroad town, Pinerich has succeeded in becoming a bustling city at the center of modern industry. It is also a well known land mark on the south side of the northern mountains, bordering and separated from Reknab Bend by the Great Monvac River.
