I also decided to take out the fact that taking those moons in my room locked had been one of the most excruciating moments thus far. I wanted to run, to hunt - but with nowhere to go...
I looked away.
"What were you doing in the library, anyways? If you're not a student, and you're clearly part of some group with others like you, what benefit do you get by being here?"
Again, ignoring a question that came to mind. A hopeful little bubble that wondered where you looking for me?

Is there a traditional name for a group - I don't know, is pack clique or is something else used? How pervasive are other wolves throughout the world and how do local cultures inform them? Would you say shedding is normally a problem? How many humans typically know about werewolves - you implied it was a danger to them even knowing about us, but I can't figure out why. Why are werewolves not more public figures or well-known- does someone hide that information or something? Seriously there isn't anything on the internet or libraries besides old folklores it just feels intentional".
I stopped myself, realizing I'd rambled, "Uhhh... I can write it all down if you want - actually, I have some journals at home with questions, different essays I've written on ponderings. I could just grab those... might be easier...".

Climbing into the driver side, I started the car and put in a cassette tape I had picked up for the road trip, "Best of Big Band". I kept the volume low.
"Pick one question, start with that."
He was trusting. Way, way, too trusting. And yet... I appreciated it. Maybe that's why I wanted to keep him around. He was so entirely different than myself. He didn't have to look over his shoulder, he wasn't afraid. Let's see if I can avoid screwing that up. I would probably have to drop him off at some ubiquitous truck stop on the way. No way could this kid go with me to my meeting.
