Background: She’s the one pulling the strings in the background, the stagehand behind the main act. Where she came from and how long she’s been in the Reknab Bend area is difficult to say. Yet her arrival is undoubtedly connected to Jacqueline Ryder, her sister. Where one goes, the other inevitably follows.
Description: Every inch of her five foot body is like a tightly coiled spring; it is under her tight control, and yet it seems if ever it were to snap she would come undone in every direction. She often wears a grave expression, large serious eyes, and a formal attire. It is rare to ever find Melinda more casual than business casual. She keeps her long hair, which reaches perhaps her mid-back, in a tight bun at the back of her head. Her body type is very small and petite -- not unhealthily so, but she possesses little in the way of significant strength.
Personality: Melinda is a creature of appearances and subtlety. She is ruthlessly cunning, manipulative, and highly intelligent. She takes no action idly and every manner of her time and mind has been effectively honed. She likes that which she can control, and has thus developed her skills of observation so she might play other’s weaknesses against them. Her own weaknesses she keeps concealed beneath a façade of self-control.

- Calgathorm: through her sister Jackie, this puts her somewhat under their protection. Not to say she agrees to it- or every member is of the pack is on the same page
- Svalnaglas: she has pledged herself to Diane Betine and sworn her sister
- Enigma: she was taken into their service as a young girl alongside her sister Jackie and shared a similar in bringing under their manipulative “father”. She is presently trying to terminate her relationship with them- permanently
