There shouldn't have been much of a reason for it but he felt like he wasn't supposed to have brought the child he was babysitting outside. Probably because he had almost lost track of said child, but the adults didn't know that. Still, it played on his conscious to cause a bit of anxiety that he was found outside with the boy.
Hearing the young boy's voice, Lee looked down at the boy's little hand that now held up the astronaut in an attempt to give it back. Lee's eyes drifted toward the woman who stood tall next to his mother for a moment before returning back to the amber eyes of the little boy. Lee's features softened as he crouched down to the boy's height.
" Keep it," he said, placing a hand on the boy's hand that held the astronaut and gently pushed it back. " If they try to take it away, just let them know it was a gift and it's really special, okay?"
Lee gave him a reassuring smile. He didn't really want to give the boy back to his caretaker as she gave him an off feeling, but there was no helping it. And so he stood up and headed over to return the boy to the woman.
